Nonthaburi, 15 Oct – A Shan man was stabbed to death with scissors while drinking. Police are searching for the perpetrator, who is believed to have been part of the drinking party.
Police investigated a house in Tambon Bang Si Mueang, Amphoe Mueang Nonthaburi, Nonthaburi Province after receiving a report that a man had been physically assaulted with scissors, resulting in one death. The scene of the incident was a two-story townhouse. In the second-floor bedroom, they found the body of Mr. Kaew, aged 45-50, a Shan national, who had been stabbed with scissors and was lying in a pool of his own blood. There were also 8-inch scissors stained with blood hanging from two window panes.
Uncle Aed, 73 years old, the owner’s brother, said that before the incident, the deceased were drinking together, 4 people. At the time of the incident, he was sitting downstairs and heard them arguing before the deceased shouted his name and asked for help. After a while, Mr. Bang Lee walked downstairs and told him to go and see
if Mr. Kaew was dead or not, but he didn’t care because the 4 of them drank alcohol every day and argued like this regularly.
Ms. Ari, a local health volunteer, revealed that the owner of the house often brought strangers or homeless people into the house. She often scolded them because it was dangerous. As for the deceased, one of his arms was disabled and often came to her for help. She said that Mr. Lee often physically abused her. However, at the time of the incident, she did not hear any arguing.
However, the police took the three people in the drinking party, including the homeowner, for questioning at Bang Sri Muang Police Station. All four of them talked in circles, but the three people in the drinking party denied any knowledge or involvement in the incident. Meanwhile, the homeowner, who found the body, said that he had just returned from Phetchaburi. Someone at home told him to go upstairs and saw Mr. Kaew lying on the sofa, breathing faintly. So he brought him downstairs and performed CPR, but h
is life could not be saved. He later died. The cause of death is likely due to the frequent sarcasm and disagreements, and no one fears each other. Mr. Bang Lee is stronger, while Mr. Kaew is less forgiving. If he had been at home, this incident would not have happened. He insisted that there was no love affair or jealousy between them.
While Mr. Banglee, whose nationality is unknown, the suspect, admitted that he often argued with the deceased, but did not know what had happened. When he went up to the house, he saw the deceased lying with blood flowing from his head. He thought that his head had hit the floor or that he had fallen and been stabbed in the stomach with scissors.
