DSI sends case to prosecute former directors of Ananda Group companies

DSI prosecutes former directors of Ananda Development Group, found to have caused over 1,000 million baht in damages

The Financial, Banking and Money Laundering Division of the Department of Special Investigation has submitted the special case file No. 7/2564 in which Ananda Development Public Company Limited filed a complaint with the Department of Special Investigation to prosecute the former directors of Helix Company Limited, a subsidiary of Ananda, for corruption and failure to perform their duties in the construction business with responsibility, caution and honesty, which resulted in Ananda, a company listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand, suffering damages totaling more than 996 million baht, which is an offense under the Securities and Exchange Act B.E. 2535, Section 281/2, paragraph two, in conjunction with Section 89/7 and Section 89/24, along with 3 suspects, to the public prosecutor, Office of Special Litigation, Office of the Attorney General, with an opinion to indict for offenses under th
e Securities and Exchange Act B.E. 2535.
