EGAT Unveils ‘EGAT FINDING HEROES FOR ALL’ Exhibition at 2025 Science Fair

Bangkok: EGAT opens the “EGAT FINDING HEROES FOR ALL” exhibition, inviting energy heroes to explore the foundations of creating a sustainable world at the 2025 Science Fair.

According to Thai News Agency, EGAT is inviting youth to experience the role of Energy Hero, embarking on a mission towards sustainability. Four activity bases are available for attendees to learn about clean innovations, create a carbon-balanced world, and enhance their energy-saving skills. Participants will also gain learning experiences at eight EGAT Learning Centers nationwide. Additionally, visitors can enjoy games and have a chance to win special prizes at the 2025 National Science and Technology Fair, taking place from today until August 17, 2025, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.

Mr. Saikrai Kongtham, Assistant Director of the Energy Management Department of the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), and Mr. Suwarong Wongsiri, Deputy Director of the National Science Museum and Acting Director of the
National Science Museum (NSM), presided over the opening ceremony of the EGAT exhibition “EGAT FINDING HEROES FOR ALL,” held at the 2025 National Science and Technology Fair at Exhibition Hall 5, LG Floor, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.

Mr. Skrai revealed that EGAT has prepared a fun and educational experience for youth to experience becoming energy heroes, carrying out missions towards sustainability to drive the country towards carbon neutrality. The exhibition, “EGAT FINDING HEROES FOR ALL,” features four activity stations where children will take on the role of heroes in a training field, learning and practicing towards energy sustainability. These include:

Base E: Energy Innovation, where participants learn about clean energy innovations developed by EGAT, including SMR (Small Modular Reactor or Mini Nuclear Power Plant), Energy Storage System (ESS), pumped storage hydropower plants, and floating solar power plants.

Base G: Green Learning Society, which focuses on practicing creating a carb
on-balanced world. It involves joining the “Green Classroom,” a source of knowledge about the environment and energy conservation, and creating art through interactive 3D Painting activities.

Base A: Appliances and Energy, aimed at enhancing energy-saving skills, learning and understanding the importance of Energy Saving Label No. 5, and having fun with the Hands-on Exhibition game.

T-Base: Transformative Learning, which offers learning experiences with 8 EGAT Learning Centers nationwide, simulating transformation through AI and scanning photos for mementos.

Inside the EGAT exhibition, there are many engaging games, with a chance to win special prizes throughout the day. Those interested can visit the EGAT exhibition at the National Science and Technology Fair 2025, from August 9-17, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Exhibition Hall 5, LG Floor, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.
