Hat yai: EGCO Group donates relief bags and cooking ingredients to flood victims in the South. Electricity Generating Public Company Limited (EGCO Group) announced that it is continuously mobilizing assistance to flood victims in the South. The company aims to alleviate their suffering, restore their quality of life, and send moral support to them so they can overcome this crisis quickly. The company recently distributed 1,000 relief bags containing consumer goods, essential medicines, and lighting equipment for safety. Furthermore, EGCO Group donated 2,500 kilograms of rice, 500 trays of eggs, and 500 bottles of vegetable oil to the Disaster Relief Center of the 42nd Military Circle, Senanarong Camp (42nd Military Circle), for distribution to flood victims and various shelters in Hat Yai District and Songkhla Province.
According to Thai News Agency, previously, Khanom Power Plant, part of the EGCO Group, collaborated with the Khanom District Headman and Village Headman Club in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province to collect 100 life jackets and deliver them to the Disaster Relief Center of the 42nd Military Circle to support relief efforts for officials, volunteers, and flood victims. They also donated basic necessities, such as drinking water, dried food, and survival kits, to government agencies and local representatives for distribution to flood relief centers.
