Ekanat Natthachak Approves Diesel and Gasoline Refining Cost Reduction

Bangkok: Ekanat Natthachak, a member of the Energy Policy and Planning Committee (EPPC), has approved a further reduction in diesel and gasoline refining costs by 2 baht per liter, effective April 24.

According to Thai News Agency, Energy Minister Ekanat Promphan is preparing to convene a meeting of the Energy Policy Administration Committee (EPAC) on April 23, 2026. The meeting aims to consider a further reduction in the refinery price, also known as the refining margin, by 2 baht per liter. This initiative marks the second price reduction in April, with the objective of implementing the change immediately on April 24, 2026, to help alleviate the burden of high fuel prices for the public.
