Ekniti’s Campaign in Hat Yai Highlights Economic Achievements and Future Promises

Hat yai: Ekniti campaigned in Hat Yai, expressing confidence that Bhumjaithai Party will make Thailand a better place. At the Saphan Dam intersection in Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province, Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, led a large rally to support the party's parliamentary candidates in all nine constituencies of Songkhla.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Ekniti Nitithanprapas, campaign assistant and member of the party's economic team, highlighted the achievements of the past 73 days in lifting the Thai economy. He expressed confidence that if the Bhumjaithai Party gets another four years, the people will be happier and wealthier. Mr. Ekniti addressed the crowd, stating this was only his second public speech and described it as the biggest of his life, delivered in Hat Yai.

Mr. Ekniti shared his story of resigning from government service, seeing Thailand as a car stuck in the mud. He emphasized the success of the "Half-Price Plus" scheme, a significant project in Songkhla, circulating over 2.5 billion baht. He conveyed no regrets about his resignation, as the initiative brought smiles and reduced burdens for citizens, boosting merchant sales.

During his time as Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Ekniti was tasked with preparing the budget, ensuring flood relief reached 600,000 households. He stated that further efforts are in place to enhance life in Songkhla, including a bridge project with Phatthalung. He has contacted the World Bank regarding this initiative and expressed optimism about future opportunities if the party remains in power.

Mr. Ekniti concluded by urging support for the Bhumjaithai Party, promising further improvements and highlighting Thailand's upcoming role as host of the World Bank meeting. He asked voters to choose number 37 for a better future.
