Election Commission Certifies Results for 100 Party-List MPs and Additional Constituencies

Bangkok: The Election Commission has officially certified the election results for all 100 Members of Parliament elected through the party-list system, along with three additional constituency MPs, excluding Suphan Buri Province, Constituency 2.

According to Thai News Agency, the Election Commission meeting resolved to approve the results for the 100 party-list MPs from various parties, including the People's Party, Bhumjaithai Party, Pheu Thai Party, Democrat Party, Economic Party, Kla Tham Party, Pheu Chart Thai Party, and Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party. Additionally, 13 smaller parties each secured one party-list MP. The meeting also certified three more constituency MPs: Mr. Akkra Phromphao (Kla Tham Party) for Phayao Constituency 1, Pol. Gen. Surapol Wirat Yosinthin (Bhumjaithai Party) for Chanthaburi Constituency 1, and Mr. Kampee Chuenban (Bhumjaithai Party) for Chanthaburi Constituency 2. The announcement for Suphan Buri Constituency 2 remains pending.

The results and referendum details will be officially announced at 4:00 PM by Acting Sub-Lieutenant Phasakon Siriphakayaporn and Mr. Krachit Charoeninth, both Deputy Secretary-Generals of the Election Commission. Meanwhile, Ms. Monporn Charoensri, MP for Nakhon Phanom Constituency 2 from the Pheu Thai Party, expressed gratitude for her reelection and addressed rumors about her potential appointment as Deputy Speaker of the House, indicating no discussions have taken place regarding ministerial or legislative roles within her party.
