Accra:Meet "Tak-Napassaran Mitthiroj" in the high-quality program supported by the Safe and Creative Media Development Fund, "Born to Heaven," a cultural docuseries that explores beliefs, rituals, traditions, and culture. The program, airing every Saturday and Sunday at 1030 AM on Channel 9, seeks to educate viewers on cultural practices and the shared values within them.

According to Thai News Agency, this coming Saturday, October 24th, episode 8 titled 'A Heavenly Bond A Sikh Wedding' will be featured. It will delve into the Sikh wedding ceremony, Anand Karaj, a sacred ritual that unites a couple in faith and peace. The ceremony takes place with the Guru Granth Sahib, a sacred scripture, as the witness to their vows. The bride is adorned with a veil symbolizing respect and purity, and both she and the groom walk around the scripture four times, holding their veils together while reciting the Lavanya chant.

The episode will highlight how prayers during the ceremony ask for love and understanding to build their future family, emphasizing Sikhism's values of equality and companionship. It illustrates that marriage in Sikhism focuses on mutual support, assistance, and growth rather than possession. The completion of the ceremony marks the beginning of a married life grounded in faith, compassion, and equality, principles taught by Guru Nanak and subsequent Gurus.
