Bangkok: The farm-gate price of mixed chicken eggs has increased by 20 satang, reaching 4 baht per egg, effective today.

According to Thai News Agency, a network of four egg-laying chicken cooperatives, including the Paed Riew, Chiang Mai-Lamphun, Chonburi, and Mae Nam Noi cooperatives, has announced an adjustment to the recommended farm-gate price of mixed chicken eggs. This adjustment pertains to eggs weighing 20.5 kilograms or more, with the price rising from 3.80 baht per egg to 4.00 baht per egg.

This change in pricing will result in an immediate increase in the cost of one tray of chicken eggs, which contains 30 eggs, by 6 baht. The new pricing will remain in effect from August 7, 2026, until further notice.
