Bangkok: The FDA opens a forum for entrepreneurs to listen to and collaborate on designing the future of the Thai food industry for the global market. The FDA is holding a forum to listen to the opinions of food entrepreneurs at all levels to exchange experiences, problems, and suggestions on the supervision of food products in all aspects. The aim is to use the information to develop fast, modern services to support the future growth of the Thai food industry.
According to Thai News Agency, Pharmacist Suphattra Bunserm, Secretary-General of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), revealed that the meeting received cooperation from representatives of food entrepreneurs and organizations related to the food industry. This includes groups such as the Federation of Thai Industries (Food and Beverage Group), the Infant and Young Child Food Manufacturers Association, the Advertising Association of Thailand, the Digital Advertising Association of Thailand, the Media Agency and Media Business Association of Thailand, and over 200 related officials. They came together to offer opinions for the development of the Thai food industry.
The FDA Secretary-General stated that opening a forum for entrepreneurs to participate in the development of FDA services is an important step. It aims to raise the standards of Thai food products, strengthen consumer confidence in receiving quality, standard, and safe food, and drive the country’s food industry towards sustainable growth and international competitiveness.
