Paris: FIFA has rejected Michael Olise's appeal against his yellow card. Didier Deschamps, coach of the French national team, announced that FIFA turned down France's appeal concerning the yellow card issued to Michael Olise during the World Cup match where Leeds United secured a 1-0 victory over Paraguay.
According to Thai News Agency, the French Football Federation lodged an appeal against the foul called on Olise in the 97th minute of France's 1-0 win over Paraguay, following a clash involving Matias Galaza. This decision implies that if Olise receives another yellow card in the upcoming quarter-final match against Morocco on Thursday, he will face suspension for the potential semi-final.
