Four Prisons in Songkhla Province Unaffected by Flooding

Songkhla: “Rutthaphon” has confirmed that four prisons in Songkhla Province are safe and have remained unaffected by the ongoing flooding. The prisons are actively participating in relief efforts by operating kitchens to aid those impacted by the floods.

According to Thai News Agency, Justice Minister Pol. Lt. Gen. Ruttapol Naowarat announced that the four prisons-Songkhla Central Prison, Songkhla Provincial Prison, the Special Correctional Institution, and the Women’s Correctional Institution-are located in Muang District and have not experienced any flood-related disruptions.

The Justice Minister has tasked each of these prisons with preparing and distributing food to flood victims, ensuring that the flooding situation is managed effectively. He emphasized that the floodwaters have not compromised the safety of the prisons or their operations.
