Bangkok: GHB (Government Housing Bank) is hosting a significant mid-year auction featuring over 12,000 pre-owned homes with discounts reaching up to 50%, along with a loan promotion offering 0% interest for the first two years. The auction, scheduled for Saturday, June 6, 2026, aims to make homeownership more accessible and affordable for people in Thailand.
According to Thai News Agency, the auction is part of GHB's annual initiative to support Thais in acquiring quality housing at more affordable prices. The range of properties includes single-family homes, townhouses, semi-detached houses, commercial buildings, vacant land, and condominiums, with over 1,000 properties located in Bangkok and surrounding areas. The auction will feature notable properties such as a condominium in the Life Ratchadaphisek project and a semi-detached house in the Panacea Village project, highlighting the diverse options available to potential buyers.
Ms. Oranuch Pongprayoon, Deputy Managing Director of the Debt Restructuring Group at GHB, emphasized that the event offers unique opportunities for homebuyers, with exclusive offers and gifts available. Winning bidders must place a security deposit of 10,000 baht for each property, or 100,000 baht for properties priced at 10 million baht or more. Additionally, customers who sign a purchase agreement between June 8th and 19th, 2026, can avail of the special loan promotion.
The auction will be held at the GH Bank Head Office for properties in Bangkok and at regional branches for properties in other areas. Interested participants can register from 8:00 AM, with the auction running from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
