GHB Implements New Security Measures for Digital Transactions to Combat Fraud

Bangkok: GHB (Government Housing Bank) is enhancing the security of its digital services to reduce the risk of fraud by limiting the amount of money transferred and paid through the GHB ALL GEN application.

According to Thai News Agency, the Government Housing Bank (GHB) is enhancing the security of financial transactions for customers using its GHB ALL GEN application with the implementation of a "transfer and payment limit" measure. This aims to reduce the risk of falling victim to fraud and increase the chances of recovering stolen funds.

Effective February 9, 2026, the measure sets a maximum daily transaction limit specifically for use via the application, categorized by user level. This aligns with the Bank of Thailand's (BOT) policy requiring financial institutions to set daily transfer limits appropriate to user behavior to mitigate financial fraud. The limit levels are: Level S, with a maximum daily transfer limit of 50,000 baht for high-risk customers or those with low transfer activity; Level M, with a maximum daily transfer limit of 200,000 baht for general customers with moderate transfer activity and no risk signals from the banking system; and Level L, with a daily transfer limit of 200,000 baht or more for customers with a regular transaction history who frequently make large transfers.

However, customers who need it can request a temporary increase in their transfer or payment limits through the GHB ALL GEN application. For more information, please contact the GH Bank Call Center at 0-2645-9000 and follow the bank's news on all GH Bank Social Media channels.
