Bangkok: The government has issued a warning against the dissemination of images depicting protests in front of the government building, clarifying that these images are AI-generated and compromise credibility.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Ratchada Thanadirek, spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office, directly addressed the false claims circulated on social media alleging the use of AI to create misleading images of a protest at Government House. She emphasized the importance of basing governmental scrutiny on factual information. Ms. Thanadirek clarified that the images portraying a large assembly of people were artificially generated and not reflective of reality. She urged individuals to verify information prior to sharing, highlighting that spreading inaccurate images or information diminishes the credibility of political expression and government oversight, leading to public confusion.

Ms. Thanadirek reaffirmed that the government remains attentive to public voices and does not shy away from scrutiny. She stated the administration is prepared for any no-confidence debate, willing to respond to all inquiries with factual clarifications. She underscored the necessity for the public to receive accurate information, enabling them to form informed judgments.
