Bangkok: The Government Lottery Office (GLO) has reaffirmed its commitment to transparency in the allocation of lottery tickets, unveiling a quota of 105 million tickets and ensuring that associations and foundations will conduct strict inspections. Any sellers found pricing tickets above the agreed rate will face immediate disqualification.
According to Thai News Agency, Lt. Col. Noon Sansanakom, Director of the GLO, confirmed that the allocation process is both transparent and accountable. The office has developed clear criteria for legal entity distributors, including associations, organizations, and foundations, to maintain fair and accountable internal lottery management. Presently, 860 legal entities have been allocated lottery tickets.
The current allocation includes a total of 105 million six-digit government lottery tickets (Lottery 6: L6), equating to 1,050,000 booklets. These are distributed as follows: 466,254 booklets (44.41%) for advance booking, 270,000 booklets (25.71%) for digital lottery tickets, 15,360 booklets (1.46%) for retail purchases, 18,627 booklets (1.77%) for lottery shops 80, 7,408 booklets for disabled people (0.71%), 127,256 booklets for the general public (12.12%), and 145,095 booklets for juristic persons, such as associations, organizations, and foundations for the disabled, accounting for 13.82% of the total.
Lt. Col. Nun emphasized that any distributor or association caught violating regulations or overpricing tickets can be reported by the public. The GLO will conduct thorough investigations, and any confirmed violations will result in the immediate revocation of allocation rights to uphold fairness and trust in the government lottery system.
