Bangkok: Government Savings Bank (GSB) partners with the Thai Machinery Association to help entrepreneurs access low-interest loans, stimulate investment, accelerate spending in the supply chain, and contribute to driving the country's economy.
According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Lapawan Chankrajang, Deputy Director of the Government Savings Bank (GSB), acting as the Director of the Government Savings Bank, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Dr. Chachanan Thanomvorasin, President of the Thai Machinery Association. This collaboration aims to support entrepreneurs by providing low-interest loans to enhance liquidity for member businesses of the Thai Machinery Association. The initiative is designed to encourage investment, boost productivity, and stimulate spending within the related supply chain.
In return, the Thai Machinery Association will focus on developing efficient technologies, innovations, and production processes. They will promote the use of clean technologies and smart machinery to reduce costs, increase productivity, and minimize environmental impact. This initiative aligns with the government's policy of fostering an innovation-driven economy and transitioning towards a green economy, which is essential for enhancing the country's long-term competitiveness.
The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Pirom Phocharoen, Assistant Director of the Government Savings Bank, SME Business Customer Division, and Mr. Prasarn Bundharak, Secretary-General of the Thai Machinery Association, along with other association members. The event took place at the GSB Pipat Building, Government Savings Bank Headquarters.
