Half-Price Plus Scheme Registration Rumor Debunked

Bangkok: Registration claims for the "Half-Price Plus" scheme, purportedly opening on May 2, 2026, have been confirmed as false. The "Verified Before Sharing" center has established that the government's official public relations channel, "Thai Khu Fah," has clarified that no such announcement has been made.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Ratchada Thanadirek, spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office, emphasized that although the "Half-Price Plus" project is under consideration, it is still in the drafting phase and pending Cabinet approval. She highlighted that no official registration process is currently in place, as falsely claimed on social media. Ms. Ratchada advised the public to disregard and avoid interacting with any suspicious links, which could potentially be scams, and to await a formal announcement from the Ministry of Finance.
