Bangkok: Heavy fighting has erupted on the Thai-Cambodian border in Kantaralak district, Sisaket province. The clashes, occurring in several military areas, have resulted in injuries.
According to Thai News Agency, the government has acknowledged the efforts of village defense volunteers, known as Chor Bor, and has rewarded them with special hazard pay and overtime pay. Despite the fierce front line at the border, the rear remains sparsely guarded, highlighting the ongoing challenges in the region.
