Hiring Surge in Macau: Over 63 Job Opportunities with Competitive Salaries

Bangkok: The opportunity has arrived for job seekers looking to work abroad, as over 63 job openings have become available in Macau with salaries reaching up to 120,000 baht. Applications for these positions can be submitted online at toea.doe.go.th until February 24, 2026.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Airin Phanrit, Deputy Spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office, disclosed that the initiative is spearheaded by the government through the Department of Employment, Ministry of Labour. The recruitment is for positions at COD Resorts Limited, a company operating a comprehensive hotel and resort that includes facilities such as a casino, shops, restaurants, and a water park. There are 20 different positions available, totaling 63 vacancies. Salaries for these roles range from 40,625 to 123,000 baht, depending on the exchange rate. The employment contract spans one year, with a rotating shift schedule of 48 hours per week. Additional benefits include reimbursed round-trip airfare upon contract completion, meals during working hours, and a housing allowance of 6,000 Macanese Patacas per year. Health insurance and other benefits will be provided in accordance with Macao labour law.

Applicants can apply for positions such as Assistant Chef, Chef de Party, Customer Service Officer, and more. Each applicant can apply for only one position and must be at least 22 years old. Proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English is required, along with a positive attitude and relevant work experience.

Ms. Airin emphasized that this recruitment drive is government-sponsored, ensuring that job seekers do not incur any application or service fees. Selected candidates will only need to cover necessary expenses such as photo fees, passport fees, health check fees, criminal background check fees, and membership fees for the fund assisting job seekers working abroad, which totals approximately 4,000 baht.
