According to Thai News Agency, for the funeral rites on the evening of January 22, 2026, Dr. Sutin Klangsaeng, President of the Military Sports Promotion Association of Thailand and former Minister of Defence, assigned Major General Nirinth Punnotok, Secretary-General of the Military Sports Promotion Association of Thailand, to represent him as a co-host, along with Mr. Wangkla Khwankaew, President of the Online Sports Journalists Association and a member of the Military Sports Promotion Association of Thailand's committee.
Many prominent figures from various sectors, including high-ranking government officials, the business sector, and the sports community, attended the funeral to pay their respects and send wreaths. Among them were Colonel Premin Rajariddhiraksa, Senior Chamberlain to His Majesty the King; Mr. Suthipong and Dr. Wandee Chulacharoen, former Permanent Secretaries of the Ministry of Interior; Dr. Wanida Phansaad, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports; Mr. Thanat Taweekuekoolkit, Assistant Minister of Transport; Thapanee Kiatpaiboon, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT); and Professor Dr. Sunet Chutintharanon, Director of the Center for Multicultural Studies and Social Innovation, Institute of Asian Studies, Chulalongkorn University.
