Nonthaburi:A homeowner in Nonthaburi province is puzzled by the sudden emergence of boiling water and hot steam from the pipes inside their townhouse and is calling for an investigation by the relevant authorities.

According to Thai News Agency, the unusual phenomenon was observed at a two-story townhouse where a drainage pipe emitted hot steam and a boiling sound. The manhole, approximately 30x40 centimeters in size, is located within the property, and the area around the pipe is too hot to stand on barefoot. Meanwhile, the nearby drainage manhole in front of the house showed no signs of heat.

Mr. Amornphet, the homeowner, explained that he regularly uses the affected area as his workspace. On October 1st, he first felt warmth on the floor. By October 2nd, the heat increased but remained subtle. However, on October 3rd and 4th, around 8 PM, the heat intensified significantly, leading him to open the drain cover. He observed hot steam rising and heard a boiling water sound. He noted that the water from this pipe comes solely from the bathroom and is free from chemical contamination. Having never encountered such an incident before, he is seeking assistance from authorities to identify the cause.
