Bangkok: The first of its kind in Thailand, IAIC 2025, the International Ornamental Bird Industry Conference 2025, was a success and received an overwhelming response from participants around the world!
According to Thai News Agency, Thailand hosted the International Aviculture Industries Conference 2025 (IAIC 2025) for the first time, organized by the Thailand Ornamental Bird Industry Group (TAVIG) in cooperation with the Zoological Park Organization of Thailand under Royal Patronage. The event took place from 20 – 24 October 2025 at the Rama Gardens Hotel, Bangkok.
The event attracted significant attention both domestically and internationally, with over 400 attendees and more than 20 international expert speakers. Participants included bird breeders, conservationists, veterinarians, zookeepers, entrepreneurs, and interested parties from numerous countries, highlighting Thailand’s role as a global hub for the ornamental bird industry. The opening ceremony was led by Dr. Somchuan Rattanamongkhonlanon, Director-General of the Department of Livestock Development, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Panathep Rattanagorn, Mr. Kritsanan Nuansuwan, Dr. Phomchai Apichatprakan, Ms. Duang Kiwkacha, Mr. Noppadol Thamwattana, and Mr. Wolfgang Kiessling.
