Chonburi: "Ice Rakchanok" has declared her intent to camp out at the ballot boxes alongside the public, voicing support for protesters at the Chonburi Municipal Gymnasium. The demand for a recount of votes in District 1 has intensified following irregularities during the vote counting process attributed to a power outage.

According to Thai News Agency, the atmosphere at the Chonburi Municipal Gymnasium was charged with tension as a large crowd of protesters gathered to demand a vote recount in District 1, where Mr. Suchart Chomklin is the prospective MP for Chonburi. Ms. Rakchanok Srinok, also known as Ice, arrived at the scene, drawing cheers from the crowd. She is a prospective MP from the People's Party's party-list and has been vocal about the need for transparency in the electoral process.

Previously, Ice Rakchanok challenged Mr. Suchart Chomklin via a public statement, asserting that he should resign as an MP for Chonburi and refuse any positions from the new government if discrepancies were found in the recount. Her presence at the protest highlighted her commitment to a transparent election process, as she revealed having witnessed irregularities in the vote counting. She reiterated her demand for the Election Commission to conduct a recount in District 1 and announced her plan to camp out at the ballot boxes alongside the public to ensure electoral integrity.
