Bangkok:The Ministry of Justice, under the directive of Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, has deployed inmates to assist communities affected by severe flooding. The decision was made following continuous heavy rainfall that has caused significant hardships across the country. The Prime Minister has expressed profound concern for the well-being of the affected populations and instructed all relevant agencies to coordinate their efforts to provide urgent assistance.

According to Thai News Agency, Police Lieutenant General Ruttapol emphasized the necessity of swiftly mobilizing resources to alleviate the public's suffering, highlighting the valuable role of inmates in this endeavor. He noted that the participation of these individuals in relief efforts not only aids the community but also serves as a testament to their willingness to reform and contribute positively to society.
