Los angeles: Los Angeles police are investigating the death of renowned Hollywood film director Rob Reiner after he and his wife were found dead in their home in what appears to be a murder. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) announced late Sunday local time that patrol officers were alerted to a report of two bodies found at a residence.

According to Thai News Agency, a burglary and homicide investigation team waited until a search warrant was obtained before entering the home to conduct a thorough investigation. Police are investigating the case as a homicide, but have not yet identified a suspect and have not released any information about the two victims. The cause of death is expected to be announced by the coroner’s office later today.
