Bangkok: Jah Nongphanee, along with her mother and sister, took part in a merit-making ceremony aimed at cutting the rattan vine for the temple's boundary marker, hoping to send blessings for her father, Pradit's, speedy recovery.

According to Thai News Agency, Jah Nongphanee, also known as Jah R-Siam, is doing everything within her power to ensure her father, Pradit Mahathai, recovers quickly from serious injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on January 28, 2026. He has been hospitalized for 26 days and is showing signs of improvement, such as breathing independently and stronger leg movement. Despite her busy schedule filled with daily concerts, Jah makes it a point to visit her father in the hospital after each performance. She has also involved her mother and sister in conducting various merit-making rituals as part of their beliefs. Earlier today, Jah and her family visited Wat Prodkaset to perform merit-making activities and pray for her father's swift recovery.
