Bangkok: "Jitthawan" has expressed her enthusiasm upon receiving her second Member of Parliament certification, emphasizing her readiness to address border issues and support the local population in the event of future conflicts. Ms. Chittawan Trisaranakul, representing Sisaket Constituency 5 for the Bhumjaithai Party, attended the Election Commission of Thailand (ECT) to obtain her election certificate, accompanied by her family. She shared her excitement, noting it felt similar to her initial certification during a by-election three months prior.
According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Chittawan is focused on addressing challenges along the Thai-Cambodian border, particularly the haze resulting from forest fires that impact both animals and residents. She has called on central and provincial authorities to evaluate and control the situation concerning forest fires and associated smoke. Furthermore, local villagers are advocating for the construction of a border wall and clearer demarcation, as there are areas where further clarification is needed. In preparation for potential conflicts, Ms. Chittawan and her team have arranged temporary shelters and allocated budget resources.
Ms. Chittawan is also related to Ms. Traisulee Traisaranakul, the former Secretary-General to the Prime Minister, highlighting a family connection to political involvement.
