Bangkok: Thailand is gearing up to host 'Tomorrowland Thailand,' aiming to boost tourism and the economy significantly. The event is anticipated to stimulate attendee spending of at least 1 billion baht and generate a total economic value exceeding 5 billion baht annually.
According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Airin Panrit, Deputy Spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office, announced that the Tourism Authority of Thailand, in collaboration with Thai private sector partners and the Tomorrowland team, is preparing to host the world-renowned electronic music festival from Belgium in Thailand. Scheduled for December 11-13, 2026, at Wisdom Valley in Pattaya, Chonburi Province, the festival will feature the theme "Conciencia." This theme connects festivals in Belgium, Thailand, and Brazil, focusing on musical styles and techniques that represent the "six basic human emotions": wonder, love, anger, joy, desire, and sadness.
Ms. Airin expressed confidence in the festival's success, with pre-registrations already received from over 110 countries. These include long-haul markets such as Latin America, South Africa, and Europe, as well as short-haul markets like China, Singapore, and Korea. Hotel packages and event tickets will be available for sale, starting with hotel packages on February 28, 2026, followed by event tickets on March 7, 2026. The tickets will be offered in four options, ranging from single-day passes to full three-day VIP access, all available through the WorldWide Ticket Sale channel.
Ms. Airin noted that hosting Tomorrowland Thailand is a significant milestone for the country, marking the first time a full-scale festival of this kind will be held in Asia. She emphasized that this collaboration underscores the global partners' confidence in Thailand's potential and contributes to the development of the nation's tourism and creative economy. The event is expected to attract 50,000 visitors daily, with over 60% being international tourists, leading to an estimated spending of at least 1,426 million baht per visit and generating a total economic value of 5,300 million baht per year.
