Bangkok: The Minister of Justice confirmed that no higher-ranking officials were involved in the VIP prison. The Minister of Justice revealed that the VIP prison has ordered the prison commander and secretary to resign from their duties. He insisted that no higher-ranking officials were involved. He said he knew when the building would be renovated, and requested a summary from the committee and the Department of Special Investigation (DSI). He declined to comment when asked if there were other facilities.

According to Thai News Agency, Justice Minister Police Lieutenant General Ruttapol Naowarat addressed the VIP prison case, stating that two individuals have been temporarily suspended from service: the Bangkok Remand Prison Commander and the Prison Commander’s Secretary. Details have been submitted to an expedited investigation committee, including the Department of Special Investigation (DSI). A summary report will be released on Thursday afternoon detailing the identities involved, but he believes the number will be in line with the initial report. He added that this matter will require additional evidence.

As for whether there is a higher position, Police Lieutenant General Rutthaphon stated that there is no confirmation, because we already know the details of the room under construction and when it will be completed. Details are under investigation by the DSI and the committee. If there is a conclusion, we will inform the media again.

As for whether or not additional dramas will be revealed on Friday, Police Lieutenant General Rutthaphon stated that the details are not yet known and he would like to receive information from the committee and the DSI first.
