Hat yai: Urgent! Palm of the band MEAN asks for help to evacuate his family and elderly in the area after facing severe flooding in Hat Yai for several days. The family of Palm Pawee, keyboard player for the band MEAN, and many other families in the area, including elderly and immobile patients, are facing a severe flood crisis in Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province, which has been ongoing for several days. As of today (November 25, 2015), no one has yet evacuated to a safe place.

According to Thai News Agency, Palm posted a message on his personal Instagram, stating, “Urgently requesting assistance for my family and many other families in Ratchakan Soi 11. We are in need of assistance due to flooding. There are elderly people and people unable to move from the area. If rescue teams or those with boats can reach us, please help. Thank you very much.”
