Kalamare Joins Kathina Ceremony at Bodh Gaya, Provides Food Offerings

Bodh gaya: Kalamare flew across the country to join the Kathina ceremony at Bodh Gaya and offered food to hundreds of Indians.

According to Thai News Agency, carrying her faith and flying to make merit across the country, female host Kalamare Patcharasri traveled on November 1, 2015, with a group led by Somdej Phra Thirayanamuni, abbot of Wat Debsirinthrawat and a member of the Supreme Sangha Council. The group participated in the Maha Kathina ceremony at the Bodhi Tree in Bodh Gaya, India.

During the ceremony, they offered food to hundreds of Indians as an offering to the Buddha. The event was also a gesture to dedicate merit to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother.
