Kamphaeng Phet Election Commission Announces Vote Recount in Two Polling Stations

Kamphaeng phet: The Election Commission of Kamphaeng Phet has announced a recount of votes in two polling units on February 26th following discrepancies in ballot counts. Relevant parties and representatives from political parties have been invited to observe the process to ensure transparency.

According to Thai News Agency, the Kamphaeng Phet Provincial Election Commission Office has specified the recount will occur at polling station 8, Village 8, Constituency 1, Nikhom Thung Pho Thale Subdistrict, and polling station 14, Constituency 1, Village 10, Thep Nakhon Subdistrict. The need for a recount arises from two ballots that were incorrectly entered into the vote count form (Form 5/18) by the Election Commission.

The recount is scheduled for Thursday, February 26, 2026, at 3:00 PM at the office. Media representatives, along with relevant and political party representatives, will be invited to observe the recount on February 25, 2026, at 3:00 PM. This initiative aims to uphold fairness and transparency throughout the process.
