Kla Tham Party Awaits Election Certification Amid Government Formation Speculations

Bangkok: Rear Admiral Anudith Nakornthap, Chairman of the Strategic Committee of the Kla Tham Party, has announced that the party is awaiting official certification from the Election Commission (EC) before making any decisions regarding its potential involvement in the government. Anudith declined to comment on whether Kla Tham has lost its chance to join the government, emphasizing adherence to directives from both the Prime Minister and Captain Thamanat Phromphao, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives.

According to Thai News Agency, Anudith stated that discussions about Kla Tham Party's role in the government have not yet occurred, and the party is strictly following the guidance of its advisory board chairman, Captain Thamanat. He refrained from commenting on whether the Bhumjaithai Party has completely ruled out collaboration with Kla Tham in forming the government.

In response to inquiries about the timeline for clarity on this matter, Rear Admiral Anudith reiterated the Prime Minister's stance that it is premature to discuss forming a coalition government. He emphasized the necessity of waiting for the Election Commission's certification of the election results before entering negotiations.

When questioned about his confidence in Kla Tham Party's potential inclusion in the government, Rear Admiral Anudith chose not to respond and proceeded to Building 1 of the Government House.
