Kla Tham Party Meeting Sparks Speculation About Government Participation

Bangkok: The Kla Tham Party headquarters was abuzz as newly elected MPs gathered to discuss their political future, particularly the possibility of joining Anutin's government. Captain Thamanat, a key figure in the party, avoided the press, leaving questions about the party's next steps unanswered.

According to Thai News Agency, the meeting, chaired by Captain Thamanat Phromphao, Mrs. Narumon Phinyosinwat, and Mr. Pai Lik, was attended by 58 newly elected MPs. They arrived at the headquarters in party jackets, registering in anticipation of the 3:00 PM meeting. Despite the lively atmosphere, Captain Thamanat's entrance was discreet, as he skillfully avoided media interactions by entering through the basement.

The focus of the meeting was to outline procedures and precautions for the 60-day post-election period. While speculation about joining the government is rife, any official announcement will be made after the party's forthcoming press conference. Notably, Captain Thamanat plans to head to the airport immediately following the meeting, adding an element of intrigue to the day's events.
