Kritsanong Expresses Concern Over Potential Arrest Warrant, Asserts Evidence of Innocence.

Bangkok: Kritsanong, the owner of the Krisanong Anti-Corruption page, has admitted to being worried about the possibility of an arrest warrant being issued against her. She remains confident, however, that there is substantial evidence to explain her innocence.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Krisanong clarified her position following the release of a conversation clip involving Mr. Ratthaphum, a former singer, allegedly demanding 20 million baht from Ms. Pancharat, also known as Boss Pun, a suspect in the controversial Icon case. Krisanong confirmed that the woman’s voice in the clip was indeed hers but claimed that certain parts had been edited. She stated that the 20 million baht was intended for business-related plans, including public relations budgets and victim compensation, and was based on discussions with The Icon Company’s executives, who assessed the plan’s value according to the business’s scale.

Looking ahead, Krisanong acknowledged that if prosecution occurs or an arrest warrant is issued
, she is concerned but has not yet arranged for bail. Nevertheless, she maintains that she possesses evidence that will support her defense in the judicial process. She expressed a desire for her case to serve as a societal example, emphasizing that she has been targeted due to her previous assistance to 89 victims of the Icon case, which may have upset those who lost benefits. Currently, it is estimated that there are over 10,000 victims involved.

Kritsanong’s efforts in this case are partly driven by the goal of prompting the Office of the Consumer Protection Board (OCPB) to introduce additional protective measures for victims. She noted that nearly 100 victims under her care will be pursuing legal action directly through the court to expedite the process. She assured that her team is working in conjunction with law enforcement and expressed continued confidence in the efforts of all officials involved.
