Thirty-one Manchester United and Liverpool legends are auctioning off signed shirts to help flood victims in Thailand ahead of the 'Battle of The Reds' football match at Supachalasai Stadium on Oct 12. Mr. Nithee Seeprae, Deputy Governor for Marketing Communications, Tourism Authority of Thailand, along with representatives of Liverpool legends led by Robbie Fowler, Steve McManaman, Emile Heskey and John Arne Riise, and Manchester United legends led by Teddy Sheringham, Dwight Yorke, Ronnie Johnsen and Wes Brown jointly announced their readiness before the great football match 'Battle of The Reds Thailand 2024, the Battle of the Red Legends' between Manchester Reds and Liverpool Reds on October 12 at Supachalasai Stadium at 6:30 p.m. Mr. Nithi revealed that the competition is in line with the policy of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, with the main objective of stimulating the economy and tourism in Thailand through sports tourism. In addition to the competition, both football teams will have the opport unity to travel around Thailand, presented through the Charm of Thailand policy, including a visit to the Grand Palace, a dinner, a taste of street food, and a dinner cruise on the Chao Phraya River. The match will feature 31 former Liverpool and United players, with other stars including Michael Owen, Paul Scholes, Louis Saha, Patrick Berger, Jari Litmanen and Djibril Cisse also joining the pitch.
