Liverpool: Liverpool, a top team in the English Premier League, has decided to exercise the option to extend the contract of Alisson Becker, the Brazilian national team goalkeeper, by another year, or until the end of the 2026/27 season.

According to Thai News Agency, a well-known media outlet, Liverpool have consistently intended to keep Alisson at Anfield for at least another season, as finding a quality goalkeeper to replace the 33-year-old is extremely difficult.

Furthermore, having a reliable goalkeeper like Alisson to guard the net for at least another year is beneficial for Liverpool's future plans as they undergo a team restructuring, given that several key players are nearing the end of their contracts and are showing signs of aging.
