Liverpool: Liverpool have completed the sale of Andy Robertson to Tottenham Hotspur. Liverpool have decided to end negotiations to sell Andy Robertson to fellow Premier League club Tottenham, meaning the Scotland international left-back will remain with the Reds until the end of his contract in the summer.
According to Thai News Agency, Paul Joyce, a journalist for The Times, revealed that Dutch manager Arne Slot did not want to lose Robertson mid-season after contacting Roma to request the return of Greek international left-back Kostas Tsimikas before his loan spell ended in the summer. However, the Wolves did not want to send the player back to his parent club.
Therefore, Robertson will remain a key player for Liverpool until the end of the season before moving on a free transfer if he does not decide to sign a new contract.
