Bangkok: Lieutenant General Adul Boonthamcharoen, currently serving as the Deputy Minister of Defence, refrained from addressing questions concerning the possibility of his promotion to the position of Minister of Defence. This speculation arose amidst reports linking his name to a potential cabinet reshuffle under Anutin Charnvirakul's second government.

According to Thai News Agency, Lt. Gen. Adul responded to inquiries by suggesting that such questions should be directed to Anutin Charnvirakul, who is both the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
