May Patida Expresses Burnout in Entertainment Industry and Focuses on Family and New Business

Bangkok: May Patida feels burnt out in the entertainment industry; her passion for both on-screen and behind-the-scenes work has faded. She supports Num Kanchai, who faces daily dramas, by being a good behind-the-scenes supporter.

According to Thai News Agency, after a long hiatus from the screen and the entertainment industry, the talented actress and producer May Fuangarom, or May Patida, recently made a public appearance again after many years at her close friend Aum Patcharapa's "Aum Aum Market" event. Reporters seized the opportunity to ask about the possibility of seeing her work again in both acting and producing. May responded that she's currently in a period of saturation and has hardly accepted any work, both in front of and behind the camera, especially her usual producing work. She explained that she stopped due to various changes that forced her to halt productions. After such a long break, she felt a loss of passion for producing dramas. Even though other channels have contacted her, she feels she can't reignite her passion. Therefore, she's focusing on being a mother and secretly working on a beauty business that she plans to launch this year.

May also shared how her personality has changed at age 49, saying she's now more reserved and quieter. She enjoys going to temples and making merit. Her friends know that she doesn't talk much unless they're really close to her, and she likes this version of herself. Regarding her husband, Num Kanchai, who faces a heavy workload with drama and hosting gigs every day, May revealed that her main role is to be a good support, taking care of their child and home, and not creating any additional worries so that her husband can come home feeling relaxed and free from pressure. She also takes care of him and is always by his side when he's frequently ill. As for their talented 12-year-old daughter, Mayu, she's growing up and has a very distinct lifestyle. She doesn't like chaos, doesn't like dancing, is quiet, and is artistic, enjoying drawing. Currently, she's very into volleyball. As a mother, she's ready to fully support her daughter in being herself.
