MCOT Initiates Auction for 30-Year Lease of Prime Bangkok Land

Bangkok: MCOT Public Company Limited conducted a blessing ceremony for a 50-rai plot of land on Thiam Ruammit Road in Huai Khwang, which is set to be auctioned for a 30-year long-term lease. The event, led by Dr. Yada Kasayapanan, Acting President and CEO of MCOT, was attended by key executives and was intended to ensure good fortune for the auction process.

According to Thai News Agency, the ceremony was graced by notable MCOT figures such as Assoc. Prof. Sanyalak Panwatnalikhit, an MCOT Board Member, Ms. Suntariya Wongsirikul, Deputy President and CEO for Finance, and Mr. Kittipong Khantirat, Deputy President and CEO for Corporate Management. The management team also paid respects to Luang Pho Dam and Phra Phrom, revered sacred objects of MCOT, as part of the blessing ritual.

MCOT Public Company Limited is advancing its commercial land development project by inviting bids for the long-term lease of the 50-rai land. The company has announced the availability of bidding documents for the project, which covers the investment, development, and management of the land located on Thiam Ruam Mit Road. The bidding period will run from July 10 to August 26, 2026. The company expects the land's strategic location to attract considerable interest from potential investors.
