They aim to expand into younger consumer segments and export markets in Asia and Europe.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Phas Nitipitikan, the brand executive of Megachef, revealed that the premium seasoning market currently accounts for approximately 15-20% of the total market and has significant potential for further growth. This is because modern consumers prioritize not only price but also origin and cleanliness. Megachef, as a premium product, aims to strengthen its market share in this segment, particularly by reaching younger generations (Gen Z) through the 'Brave and Meet' campaign. Furthermore, it will expand its customer base into export markets in Asia and Europe to promote high-quality premium Thai seasonings internationally. He believes that a strong brand, influential presenters, and professional chefs will be key factors in the continued growth of the premium seasoning market.
The company has implemented a marketing strategy by enlisting seven female presenters from 4EVE to help elevate the image of its condiments as a lifestyle choice and a bold pursuit of quality. Additionally, renowned chefs such as Chef Wilman Leong and Chef Kratip-Chavalakorn Wathanapisitkul have been featured as presenters, demonstrating the quality of MegaChef products, which have gained popularity among professional chefs, including premium fish sauce and oyster sauce.
