According to Thai News Agency, Kendrick Lamar emerged as the star of the evening, claiming five awards. He won Record of the Year and Best Melodic Rap Performance for 'luther', Best Rap Album for GNX, Best Rap Song for 'tv off', and Best Rap Performance for 'Chains and Whips'. Olivia Dean, another notable winner, clinched the Best New Artist award. Billie Eilish's 'Wildflower' earned Song of the Year, while Doechii's 'Anxiety' was named Best Music Video. Lola Young's 'Messy' won Best Pop Solo Performance.

Lady Gaga received three significant awards for Best Pop Vocal Album with MAYHEM, Best Dance Pop Recording for 'Abracadabra,' and Best Remixed Recording for 'Abracadabra (Gesaffelstein Remix)'. Jelly Roll also secured three awards, including Best Contemporary Country Album for Beautifully Broken. Leon Thomas and The Cure were among other multiple awardees, with Leon Thomas winning Best R and B Album and The Cure taking Best Alternative Music Album.

The Song Written For Visual Media award went to "Golden," performed by HUNTR/X for the KPOP animated film Demon Hunters. "Defying Gravity" by Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande won Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. On the rock front, Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross won Best Rock Song, while YUNGBLUD received Best Rock Performance for "Changes (Live From Villa Park, Back To The Beginning)."
