Bangkok: The Minister of Education is spearheading the preparations for National Children’s Day 2026, emphasizing the theme of “Good Learning, Moral Development” and encouraging creative activities to help Thai children realize their potential while honoring Her Majesty the Queen Mother.
According to Thai News Agency, Prof. Dr. Narumon Pinyosinwat, Minister of Education, chaired the meeting of the National Children’s Day 2026 organizing committee. The meeting brought together executives, civil servants, and representatives from both public and private sectors to establish guidelines for activities centered around the theme “Good Learning, Moral Development.” The gathering took place at the Rawallop Conference Room within the Ministry of Education.
Prof. Dr. Narumon announced that the Ministry of Education will be the primary agency for National Children’s Day 2026, set for Saturday, January 10, 2026. The ministry will collaborate with various government and private entities to create a learning environment that is enjoyable and fosters morality among Thai youth. This year’s theme, “Good Learning, Good Morality,” will also include an exhibition honoring Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, recognizing her contributions to education and her dedication to visiting remote areas to support children and youth.
The event is organized into four main zones: Light of Wisdom, Creative Earth Lab, Sufficiency for Happiness, and Water Wonder Zone. These zones will feature exhibitions, creative learning opportunities, skills competitions, and activities that display the talents of children and youth. Additionally, awards and certificates will be presented to outstanding children in fields such as writing, drawing, and other innovative endeavors.
Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul will preside over this year’s event, which will be supported by various participating agencies, aiming to provide a platform for Thai children to demonstrate their abilities and achievements.
