The Ministry of Education launches the Scout Management System and Scout Training Program in Educational Institutions, Transforming into a New Era, Modern, and Reducing Workload

Police General Permpoon Chidchob, Minister of Education and Chairman of the National Scout Executive Board, announced the launch of the Scout Management System and Scout Training Program in Educational Institutions, saying that in accordance with the policies of ‘Good Study, Happy Study’, Education for Excellence, and Education for Life Security by ‘reducing the burden on teachers and educational personnel’, ‘reducing the burden on students and parents’.

Pol. Gen. Phermpoon said that under the policy of ‘Good Study, Happy’, the Ministry of Education focuses on education for excellence and improving the quality of life by reducing the burden on teachers, students and parents. The launch of this scout management system therefore emphasizes the use of technology to increase work efficiency at all levels, from the central office to edu
cational institutions. In addition, it comes with the concept of ‘Modern Scouts Transform’ under the slogan ‘Do good, do it, do it now’ to ensure correct, fast and cost-effective operations, consisting of 4 important systems:

Scout Group or Troop Establishment Request System for educational institutions that wish to establish scout groups.

Scouting Position Request System for Scoutmasters seeking new positions

Scout Qualification Request System for certification of qualifications at various levels

Training opening request system for opening training for scout personnel in various courses

. The launch of these new systems helps reduce the steps and costs, truly responding to the policy of “reducing the burden of teachers”.

In addition, the Ministry of Education has launched a new scout training program, which is a scout training program in educational institutions that has been developed to be in line with the digital age and the current skills needed. It is divided by scout type as follows:

Cub Scouts:
Leadership, Savings, Codding, Thai Etiquette, and Disaster Prevention.

Regular Scouts: E-sports, Codding, Cyber ????Threats, and Patriotism.

Senior Regular Scouts: SMART SCOUT, Emergency Rescue, Save Bullying and Sexual Harassment.

Senior Scouts: Digital Finance, Local Wisdom, and Community Assistance

. In the future, new courses will be developed to provide scouts with modern skills that can be applied in real life.

Pol. Gen. Phemphun concluded by saying that he hoped that this scout management system and training program would be an important tool to enhance the skills and quality of life of Thai youth everywhere, every time, truly responding to modern education policies.
