Bangkok: The Ministry of Public Health is closely monitoring the Nipah virus and implementing comprehensive surveillance measures. The Director-General of the Department of Medical Sciences emphasized the thorough monitoring efforts being undertaken by the Ministry.

According to Thai News Agency, the Ministry is taking steps to ensure that the Nipah virus is observed in all aspects, especially as India is accelerating efforts to contain the spread following reports of five confirmed cases.
