According to Thai News Agency, Messi continued his impressive form, scoring two goals to lead Argentina to a 2-0 victory over Austria in their second group stage match of Group I at the 2026 World Cup. With those additional goals, Messi became the all-time leading scorer of the World Cup with a total of 18 goals.
