Chachoengsao:Several motorcyclists have been injured after encountering hazardous potholes on Thep Ratana Road (Bangna-Trat) Km. 51, in the parallel lane heading towards Chonburi.

According to Thai News Agency, three motorcycles overturned overnight due to the dangerous road conditions, which include large potholes and bumps. The accidents resulted in injuries to all three riders, necessitating their transport to the hospital by Chachoengsao rescue workers.

The problematic road, located in Moo 4, Tha Kham Subdistrict, Bang Pakong District, Chachoengsao Province, has been under scrutiny as users express concerns over its safety. The contractor is currently expanding the expressway, but construction on the parallel road has yet to commence, leading to increased traffic and further deterioration of the road due to frequent rainfall.

These conditions have created numerous potholes that pose significant risks, particularly to vehicles traveling at high speeds. Even after the accidents, the contractor has implemented safety measures by placing cones to block off the affected lanes.
