According to Thai News Agency, the atmosphere at Nakhon Ratchasima Bus Terminal 2 today was crowded with people waiting in line to travel back to Bangkok and its surrounding areas. Many bus companies had tickets fully booked in advance, leaving walk-in passengers waiting for additional buses. The transport authorities have added over 50 extra bus trips to expedite passenger flow and prevent stranded passengers.
While provincial transport officials are conducting rigorous inspections of both vehicles and drivers to ensure maximum safety, it is expected that tomorrow, the last day of the holiday, will see an even higher volume of passengers.
Regarding traffic on Mittraphap Road, in the Sikhiu district heading towards Bangkok, the volume of vehicles is steadily increasing, but overall traffic is still moving well and vehicles are maintaining the legal speed limit.
